Twin Peaks is a craft beer brewery and a restaurant with a brewery located in the center of Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, a 7-minute walk from Tsukuba Station. The name comes from the twin peaks of Mt. Nyotai and Mt. Nantai on Mt. Tsukuba.

At Twin Peaks, you can enjoy craft beer that uses only malt, hops, yeast and water according to the German Beer Purity Law.

Authentic German-style sausages, pizza, fish and chips, and other beer-friendly dishes are available, as well as pasta, salads, and desserts.

The inside of the store is a bright and friendly space where you can relax whether you are alone or in a large group. At the terrace seats, you can bring your dog with you.

Head Brewer Carsten Beuckmann is a brewer with a PhD in biochemistry. Every day, we scientifically analyze the brewing process and strive to improve the quality of craft beer so that our customers can enjoy the highest quality beer.

Only malt, hops, water and yeast are used when brewing authentic German beer, following the Beer Purity Law of 1516. At Twin Peaks, we try not only this authentic German beer, but also other beer styles such as IPA, so you can enjoy a wide variety of craft beers.

Twin Peaks beer is always freshly brewed. It’s a genuine craft beer with no preservatives added.

“Brewing based on science” is our credo according to which we create our beers. Centered on German beers true to style, exploring the vast variety of the beer universe. Brewing according to the German Purity Law from 1516, we are using only malt, hop, water and yeast as ingredients.
